Summer Gospel Reading Groups
This summer, we'll be gathering in groups to read and discuss the Gospels. While we expect to have a few groups, we'll start with Tuesday evenings, 7:30pm.

Introduction to Biblical Hebrew: August 12-15, 2013
In partnership with our good friends at Etz Chayim, Spark will host an Introduction to Biblical Hebrew sponsored by the Biblical Language Center (BLC). Instructors Gary and Sharon Alley, will introduce us to over 200 vocabulary items and structures with direction for continued self-study in the language. This fun, interactive course, based upon the ulpan and Total Physical Response (TPR) models in Israel, lays the foundation for continued study towards reading and understanding the Hebrew Bible.
Cost: The course is $90, including refreshments during break.
Prerequisite Course Materials:
Participants must complete the 10 picture lessons in Book One, prior to the course.

Cost: $33.75 for the mp4 version - OR - $51.75 for the print version. ($66.75 for both).
When: 7pm-9pm, Monday - Thursday, August 12-15.

Class size is limited to 25 participants. Etz Chayim and Spark Church members will be given priority. If interest is high, we may open a second class from 3:30pm - 5:30pm on the same days.

It's a day to run, walk, skip, hop or jog. It's a day to celebrate YOU! Bring your family and friends to the 4th Annual Bay Area Title 9K. We have kept the same great course as last year at Quarry Lakes Park. We are excited to celebrate the fun and satisfaction of your doing a run/jog/walk with us, whether it's your very first or your hundredth! What: A scenic 9k (that’s a bit over 5.5 miles) run, jog or walk mostly on dirt and some paved trails
Who: YOU! First timers to a race, seasoned runners, elite racers, joggers, walkers, skippers, and mothers with kids in tow—yes! Baby joggers are allowed; we even have a separate category for moms with baby joggers. Sorry guys, this one's just for the ladies! We’d love to see you guys out cheering on the ladies or volunteering. Come join the fun this way!
